MD Driver Arrested for Third DUI After 4 Hit-and-Run Crashes in Delaware

A Elkton, Md. man has been charged with his 3rd DUI offense after being pulled over in Newark after 4 hit-and-run crashes. The driver, Eric M. Zimmer, was allegedly driving without headlights and showing other obvious signs of impairment according to police. Once pulled over, with sparks shooting from one of his wheels, Zimmer had to be force ably removed from his vehicle. He is being charged with 15 offenses including resisting arrest and felony third-offense DUI.
