Alabama Defensive Back Geno Smith Charged For 2nd DUI in 3 Seasons

University of Alabama defensive back Geno Smith was arrested for his second DUI in three seasons over the weekend and held on $1,000 bail. Smith is a three year reserve who was likely expected to play big minutes for the Crimson Tide after the departure of both starting safeties this off season. Smith will reportedly be disciplined internally by the University of Alabama football team. He served a two game suspension in 2013 for his first DUI offense.
