California Woman Acclerates Through DUI Checkpoint Going 100 MPH, Crashes into Barrier

An Orange County resident is in critical condition after speeding through a DUI checkpoint and crashing into a construction barrier going an estiamted speed of 100 miles per hour. The woman, who has yet to be identified, had to be rescued from her Volkswagen Beetle. According to police the woman accelerated through the DUI checkpoint instead of stopping and then sped onto a closed road before hitting the barrier.
