A new DUI bill has been sent to the Governor in Colorado that would make a fourth DUI conviction a felony offense carrying large fines and up to six years in prison. Colorado is currently only one of five states where DUI offenders face only misdemeanor charges, unless they hurt or kill someone. Governor Hickenlooper has supported the bill and is expected to sign it.
