A Mt. Airy man involved in a December fatal crash has been charged with negligent homicide and driving under the influence after the truck he was driving drove across the road and hit a tree, killing a passenger. In addition to DUI and negligent homicide, Karl Joseph Tomanek is also facing reckless driving and other related charged. He was indicted by a grand jury this week.
