MD Man Charged With DUI Following Crash in Delaware

A Maryland driver has been arrested for DUI following a an accident that sent a passenger of the car to the hospital in critical condition. Leoncio Romero was allegedly driving when he lost control of his truck and slammed into a phone pole. Romero then crossed over the road and when through the front yard of a house running into a tree. When police arrived they found Romero hiding in a horse stable nearby. He is being charged with DUI, vehicular assault, and driving without a valid license.
