More Than 7000 Traffic Stops in MD For Fourth of July

The Maryland State Police reported that over 7,000 traffic stops were made during the Fourth of July holiday. Among these 7,000 traffic stops, recent statistics displayed that the Maryland State Police issued more than 5,100 citations and 4,100 warnings. Prince George’s County police made 17 DUI arrests. Among the DUI arrests, six were repeated offenders and two of them had children on board while allegedly driving under the influence.
